“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.” (ESV)

Whether you are a new believer in Jesus Christ or someone who has been in a relationship with Him for some time, ABIDE has something to offer you.

For the new believer, you have to opportunity to begin to develop the spiritual disciplines that you will need throughout your lifetime, to follow Jesus. ABIDE focuses on the foundational biblical truth that will serve you well as you begin your life with Christ. In ABIDE, you will spend time reading the Word of God and reading a devotional that explains why the scripture you are reading is so important. You will learn how to pray, think, based again, on the passage of scripture you are studying. Finally, with each ABIDE devotional, you will also find a link to worship music that will help you to focus differently on the scripture for that day.

For someone who is further along in the faith, ABIDE still offers a great opportunity. 1Corinthians 3:10 reminds us, “…each one should build with care. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.” ABIDE, for the more mature believer, is an opportunity to inspect how you have built. It will allow you to revisit the foundational truths of the faith and be reminded of why they are so important.

ABIDE for Life Groups. We have taken the ABIDE videos and material and organized them for use in your Life Group. ABIDE for Life Groups gives you the opportunity, with your group, to revisit the foundations of the faith.

So, whether you are new to the faith, inspecting the way you have built, or doing life with others, ABIDE is for you.
